Wedding Catering can mean a whole range of different options, ranging from the traditional sit-down plated meal service to a more casual style of service. I have listed below some of the catering styles that we can offer you, or you can mix and match to make your Reception more creative and interesting.
Wedding Catering Styles
Sit Down Weddings
This traditional style of Wedding usually consists of a selection of canapés to begin with after the Ceremony, followed by a 2-3 course plated dinner which may include an Entree, Main Meal and Dessert, although the current trend is to have the Wedding Cake as a dessert. This style of Wedding allows for speeches and formalities to occur during courses. Menu options here.
Shared Banquet Meals
This style of Wedding has many benefits and is more relaxed than the traditional Sit Down Dinner. Similar to a plated meal, but much more social as it creates conversation with the table guests to share and enjoy a range of food served directly to guests on the table. Our Share Platter menus are designed with style, abundance and atmosphere in mind. Menu options here.
The most popular style of Wedding catering, generally a stand-up event which is designed to satisfy the biggest appetites with a range of Grazing Platters Canapé’s and our Talk and Fork Food bowl options. This allows for the guests to mingle and socialise amongst themselves enjoying a creative menu served by our wait staff who move around the venue making sure everyone is served. Menu options here.
This is also a traditional style of catering and it allows guests to choose and enjoy a large range of tempting delights, from hot and cold dishes to carved meats which are usually served by a chef/s and wait staff. It also allows guests to return to the Buffet for a second helping which makes the experience more pleasing for the guests. Menu options here.
